INSTALLATION

Download and install VRML browser BS Contact 7.0.

LAUNCH

Choose one of the versions above by clicking an image and wait until the model is loaded.

NAVIGATION

To navigate through the model, use keyboard arrows:

Up arrow - move forward
Down arrow - move backward
Left arrow - turn left
Right arrow - turn right

Navigation speed can be changed in the main menu of the VRML browser, which is brought up by right-clicking your mouse.

[1]  Buttons that bring up Menu and Map windows

[2]  Menu alias Navigation

Serves for quick navigation between different destinations in 3DCityHall.

[2a] dragging the top bar of the window changes the window position
[2b] clicking the button closes the window
[2c] clicking a name chooses a destination, items marked [+] contain other destinations
[2d] clicking the button launches automatic navigation, which takes you on the shortest path to the destination. Clicking the button again cancels the automatic navigation.
[2e] clicking the button takes you immediately to the destination

[3] Map

Map displays current position and information about rooms that are being visited. It can be also used to launch the automatic navigation.

[3a] dragging the top bar of the window changes the window position
[3b] clicking the button closes the window
[3c] the arrow shows the current position in the map. Places of special interest are emphasized with a dark shade
[3d] description of the room. If displayed with red colour, clicking the description brings up a related web page in an internet browser.
[3e] floor and room number
[3f] clicking in the map displays floor, room number and description of the room. Double clicking in the map launches the automatic navigation, which takes you on the shortest path to the destination.
[3g] clicking the borders moves the visible part of the map
[3h] clicking the plus and minus symbols changes the size of the map. Neighbouring buttons have identical function like [2d] and [2e] for navigation launched by double clicking in the map.
[3i] clicking a floor symbol switches among floor maps
